About the role
- CTI, Inc. is looking for a full-time Laborer to join our fleet maintenance team in Laveen, AZ.
- We have grown to over 350 drivers and have terminal locations throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
- A Laborer assists in various maintenance department activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform tractor-trailer switch-outs daily, ensuring proper coupling of the tractor to the trailer which includes proper connection of brake airlines and seven-wire plug for lights
- Perform daily equipment yard check
- Clean and maintain Fuel Island as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements
- Maintain a current driver license; ability to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy
Requirements
- No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
- No major violations within the previous 5 years
- Ability to pass a controlled substance test for pre-employment purposes
- Ability to work varying hours and schedules, including overtime
- This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers
- This position requires the ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms and hands, grip, speak, hear, see, climb and/or balance, bend, kneel, squat or crawl, use legs, and feet.
