About the role

- Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance Workplace Type: Onsite, San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Partners provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations.
- Additionally, they also provides program management support to many of its clients' R&D departments and is actively engaged in the development of several next generation platforms.
- Our client is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California.
- Analyzing and establishing project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Monitoring and coordinating ongoing project activities, identifying, and resolving issues to maintain project timelines.
- Controlling project plans through continuous review of designs, specifications, and schedule changes while recommending necessary actions to management.
- Serve as a key liaison for the FST lead and various stakeholders, including clients, engineering teams, and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Developing and maintaining project plans, staffing plans, and related planning documents to support FST tasking.
Requirements
- Has over three (3) to 10 years of experience in Engineering and Logistics program/project management.
- BS or BA degree in Business Administration or a "Relevant Technical Discipline".
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, in an office environment.
Nice to have
- Degree in an engineering field is strongly preferred.

Compensation
- $55.00-$65.00 per hour
