About the role
- Veterinary Emergency Services (VES) is seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Veterinarian to join our well-established, highly respected 24/7 emergency hospital serving Verona and the surrounding communities.
- This is an opportunity to work alongside a strong clinical team while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced ER setting.

- Experienced, long-tenured LVT team of 11
- DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited program
- Eligible for or currently holding a Virginia veterinary license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in emergency medicine
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality care
- Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills across emergency medicine
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities
- Collaborates effectively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, safety, and high-quality patient care
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds
- Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods throughout your scheduled shift
- Professional, neat appearance consistent with hospital standards
