About the role

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company.
An operations specialist may also oversee the Customs House Brokerage (CHB) process and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as JAS Forwarding operating procedures.
This position may be responsible for the completion of all custom house broker transactions and other government agency regulations in a timely manner.

Must have experience handling import & export shipments using both air and ocean products
Good working knowledge of Incoterms required

Knowledge of Importer Security Filing (ISF) preferred
Knowledge of CargoWise (C1) preferred

In accordance with Minnesota's pay transparency laws, the hourly compensation for this position is $26.44 - $31.25 / HR This range reflects the base salary or wage, which may vary based upon, but not limited to factors such as education,

Minimum 5 years' experience handling imports and exports (via ocean/air product) or a combination of education and expertise required
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
