About the role
- JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company.
- An operations specialist may also oversee the Customs House Brokerage (CHB) process and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as JAS Forwarding operating procedures.
- This position may be responsible for the completion of all custom house broker transactions and other government agency regulations in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Must have experience handling import & export shipments using both air and ocean products
- Good working knowledge of Incoterms required
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch

Nice to have

- Experience and knowledge regarding import, compliance, rules and regulations preferred
- Knowledge of Importer Security Filing (ISF) preferred
- Knowledge of CargoWise (C1) preferred
Compensation
- In accordance with Minnesota's pay transparency laws, the hourly compensation for this position is $26.44 - $31.25 / HR This range reflects the base salary or wage, which may vary based upon, but not limited to factors such as education,
Benefits
- Minimum 5 years' experience handling imports and exports (via ocean/air product) or a combination of education and expertise required
- In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
