About the role
- Legato, LLC recruiters (Staffing@legatocorp.com) would love to speak with you regarding the following position: Multiple Levels-Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interacts with the customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Responsibilities
- The Systems Engineer analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
- Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develops technical documentation.
- Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
- Desired experience with proficiency with Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar SysML tools, and INCOSE ASEP or similar systems engineering certification
- At least seven (7) years experience as a systems engineer
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, five (5) additional years of experience may be substituted for a total of twelve (12) years of experience

Compensation
- $190,000-$230,000, depending on experience.
