About the role
- Reporting to the Manager the Process Engineer role would be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
- Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Trouble shoot process related issues and help to develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
- Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and review processing methods.

- What a typical day looks like: Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.

- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering field or equivalent experience and training with experience for 5 year with customer focus team in Automation, Mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD tools,Root cause failure analysis,Process improvement utilizing several lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience with Kanban and Six Sigma certification is good to have.
- Use of the following tools may be required:
- color code, component, and schematics.
- May require previous exposure to regulated medical industry manufacturing environment.
