About the role
- Using engineering knowledge, works with significant oversight by management and/or more senior engineers to link cross functional groups to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform time studies and design tooling.
- develop feedback with Manufacturing Engineering and train end user's application and use.
- Develop best practices utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools laying out production lines from material receipt to shipment.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering in bottleneck reduction by conducting lead time studies, prioritize actions and participate in the solution. Validate that the solution achieved the desired results.
- Engineering data gathering, including statistics, design of experiments, risk analysis and database analysis
- Coordinate programing of the dashboard with Information Technologies; develop feedback with Manufacturing Engineering and train end user's application and use.

- B.S in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required
- Georgia candidates preferred.
- 1 year of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills
- Big picture data analysis, communication and statistics skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing flow, Six Sigma and capacity planning
- Familiarity with computer systems and basic programing logic
