About the role
- New Product Introduction Procurement Engineer (Injection Molding) Description - This role is responsible for providing DFM guidance to R&D and Manufacturing engineers for high-volume thermoplastic injection molding components.

Responsibilities
- Participates as a member of project teams with mechanical design and manufacturing engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low- to high-complexity products.
- Develops and implements mold capacity planning considering forecasts, cycle times, and yields.
- Evaluates injection molded part failures and issues with cross functional teams and provide solutions. Work with suppliers to determine root cause and implement robust solutions.
- Develop quality control plans with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality for proto through high volume HP specifications.
- Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, on design and development of injection mold tooling and processes, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs.
- Provides technical guidance to internal partners and external supplier teams in the resolution of challenges and supports program level efforts.
Requirements
- Four-year Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

- The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional
