Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software, and manufacturing teams - and know how to coordinate across those boundaries without creating gaps
  • you understand the principles of design, from schematic capture to layout.
  • test plans, manufacturing procedures, design review artifacts

Requirements

  • You have experience writing code that stands up to the unpredictability of the physical world, where the small details are the difference between success and failure.
  • aside from design principles, you have real experience taking boards from raw ideas to manufactured and tested hardware, including the software or firmware required.

Skills

  • Altium, Onshape, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
  • Experience supporting manufacturing teams and writing documentation for non-engineers
  • CAD tools for enclosure and mechanical integration work
  • Embedded C/C++ or Python for test automation
