About the role
- This role requires a deep understanding of PowerApps and related Microsoft technologies, along with prior experience in federal projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PowerApp deployment packages, PowerShell scripts, and automation routines for streamlined deployment and administration including backup to GitHub.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, upgrades, and patches, following best practices and change management processes.
- Document PowerApp configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.
Requirements
- Certification: Must have current and appropriate DoD approved IA baseline computing environment certification in accordance with IAW DoDM 8140.03, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, prior to start date.
- Proficiency in Power Platform components, including PowerApps, Power FX, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and Power Platform environments.
- Strong understanding of business process automation concepts, workflows, and best practices.
- Must be able to pass background check.

- Preferred Skills and Ability:
Skills
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and tools (e.g., APIs, SQL, RESTful services)
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service), Azure, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in JSON, JavaScript, PowerFX
- Experience with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and.NET framework.
- Certification in PowerApp administration or development preferred.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Required Skills and Ability:
- Proficiency in system monitoring and performance tuning, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues to ensure system reliability.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for PowerApp solutions within multiple Power Platform environments.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that meet business requirements.
