Responsibilities

  • Partner with Director, Regional Maintenance in developing training tools in support of Maintenance needs and initiatives.
  • Assess maintenance metrics (i.e. - service requests timing, unit availability/turnaround) and work with Lead Maintenance, Business Manager and Regional Managers in developing solutions to increase productivity.
  • Evaluate, develop and recommend maintenance polices that will ensure compliance of federal regulations, safety standards and process efficiencies.
  • Partner with SVP to determine regional support needed to schedule accordingly and communicate schedules to Director of Regional Maintenance.
  • Periodically assists property teams with needed support by providing on-the-job training while accomplishing tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, MS Word and Internet.
  • Manual dexterity - the ability to quickly move the hand, hand together with the arm, or both hands to grasp, manipulate, handle, install, position, move, manipulate, or assemble.
  • Multi-limb coordination - the ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
  • Finger dexterity - the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
  • Static strength - the ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
  • Ability to see the big picture and make strategic recommendations with regard to solving problems, selecting vendors, etc.

Nice to have

  • Professional credentials like the Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) are highly preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
