About the role

  • Plans and direct certain phases in a research project.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in designing, planning, and coordinating experiments in support of research projects related to one or more of the following: membrane processes (ceramic membranes, forward and reverse osmosis, air gap membrane distillation, etc.): carbon capture-related research, life cycle assessment, transportation materials, and infrastructure.
  • Uses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation of research experiments and results.
  • Increase center's research productivity by developing and submitting new proposals for funding and publishing high quality journal articles, and grant reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • No prior experience required.

  • The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

Visa & Work Authorization

  • A Presidential proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025.
