About the role
- This role focuses on the collection and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) from corporate systems including Microsoft Office 365, Purview, Relativity, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange email.
- Collect data from network shares using forensic applications such as FTK or others.
- This role will require being in office 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys/paralegals in maintaining legal hold management system.
- Maintain chain-of-custody documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to meet project deadlines.
- Responsible for providing technology-related litigation support services to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Build trust-based partnerships
- Use storytelling to build buy-in
- Empower teams to manage their own goals
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in eDiscovery or digital forensics.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem, especially Purview and Exchange.
- Direct experience with Relativity or similar review platforms.
- Familiarity with corporate data networks and file share structures.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CEDS or similar.
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python)
- Understanding imaging from Encase, Falcon.
- Knowledge of legal hold processes and compliance frameworks of eDiscovery.
- Knowledge of legal hold systems such as Exterro or similar.
- IT background pertaining to corporate email/data/network systems.
- Your abilities in relation to the job specification
- Performance during screening and interview
