About the role

  • This position ensures compliance with Program Policies, Procedures, and DHS regulations while supporting clients' offsite employment goals through skill assessment, job matching, and ongoing job site development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to employees consistent with the company's management core competencies.
  • Manage departmental budget and record expenditures to the accounting department.
  • Collaborate with Program Plan Coordinators and Job Coaches to match clients' skill sets and employment interests with community job placements.
  • Coordinate with client teams to develop and implement individualized plans that support clients' goals, preferences, and needs.
  • Oversee the completion of incident and emergency reports, manage corrective actions, and conduct internal maltreatment reviews when necessary.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a human services-related field, along with one year of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities or those aged 65 or older;
  • Ability to use electronic devices, including databases and internet-based applications.
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol test following a conditional job offer as well as throughout the course of employment, is required by driving policies.
  • The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of this position.
  • The employee must be able to continually sit, stand, walk, and communicate throughout each day.
  • Must meet the qualifications for a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) or Designated Coordinator as outlined in federal and/or state regulations, which include:
  • A diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in a human services-related field, and three years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities or those aged 65 or older
  • Four years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities or those aged 65 or older, supervised by a qualified professional meeting the above criteria.
  • Demonstrate ability to productively collaborate with clients, co-workers, and others associated with the company.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Commitment to supporting clients in their work placement and encouraging independent placement in the community.
  • Have a valid class'D' driver's license.
  • Personal vehicle insurance that meets the company's requirements.
  • Ability to drive all company vehicles and follow the safe transportation policy.
  • Ongoing commitment to strengthening diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

Nice to have

  • An associate degree in a human services-related field, plus two years of full-time experience providing direct care to individuals with disabilities or those aged 65 or older;
  • Experience supervising employees is preferred.

  • Foster relationships with employers to ensure satisfaction with client and staff performance.
  • Stay informed about key employment opportunities and communities relevant to job searches.
  • Record and approve client attendance in the Pavillio database.

Compensation

  • $100k-$200k
