About the role
- You will be joining a close-knit QA Team.
Responsibilities
- Framework Architecture: Evaluate, select, and build robust test automation frameworks that integrate seamlessly across our web and mobile game environments.
- Peer Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner closely with QA team and leadership to understand current manual test suites, identify high-value regression tests to automate, and lead training sessions to up-skill the team in basic automation scripting.
- Defect Management: Author clear, highly detailed bug reports and collaborate closely with developers and your QA team using Jira to drive resolutions.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering partners to integrate quality into the development lifecycle.

Requirements
- Knowledge with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Appium.
- Programming Languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript API Test experience using,
Skills
- Alignment: Strong programming/scripting proficiency in at least one (ideally more) of our core languages: JavaScript, Java, or C#.
- Cross-Platform Testing: Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira.
- While your peers possess deep domain knowledge and excel at manual exploratory testing, our current processes need enhanced automation.
- This position is located in Seattle and requires two days per week in office.
- Strong programming/scripting proficiency in at least one (ideally more) of our core languages: JavaScript, Java, or C#.
Compensation
- $115,000 - $125,000 + bonus + equity.
