About the role

  • In instances where the Search and Screen Committee is unable to ascertain from the candidates' application materials whether they meet any of the qualifications, they may be evaluated as not meeting such qualifications.
  • Finalist candidates(s) will be asked to provide three professional/supervisor references through an external reference checking tool.
  • References will not be contacted prior to candidates being notified.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and expand partnerships with community organizations, school districts, technical colleges, and workforce agencies
  • Support development of workforce-responsive partnerships aligned with regional and state needs
  • Expand and manage dual enrollment course opportunities with high school partners
  • Promote UWM academic programs that provide career and professional development opportunities for school employees and community partners
  • Collaborate with admissions, advising, and academic leadership to support recruitment initiatives and enrollment strategies
  • Create and sustain academic program-level advisory boards that include faculty, student, alumni, and employer stakeholders
  • Collaborate and provide input on the design, development, and implementation of new outreach programs or services
  • Track outreach activities and partnership outcomes to support continuous improvement and assessment efforts
  • Support implementation of grant-funded workforce and enrollment initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in outreach, recruitment, workforce development, or community engagement

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in academic leadership, administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working in PK-12 and/or university settings
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building relationships between schools, university, and community partners
  • Knowledge of educator preparation pathways and licensure processes

Compensation

  • Minimum salary will be $70,000 per year, with actual hiring salary to be determined based on qualifications and experience related to the position
