About the role

Address service requests from faculty, staff, and students, and complete assigned work orders from facilities supervisors.
include inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and minor installations related to heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, ensuring reliable and safe operation across multiple campus buildings.
Provide responsive, customer-focused service.

Deliver courteous, timely support for faculty, staff, and student concerns.
Assess issues and determine when escalation or specialized support is needed.
Support special events and room setups.
Perform basic repairs to walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and doors.
Perform scheduled building inspections and maintenance tasks.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of building common areas.
Check and maintain equipment such as sump pumps, filters, and fans.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance at the University campus with a strong focus on HVAC systems.

Must be available 24/7 for emergencies and willing to work overtime.
Must be able to perform light troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical as needed.

Two-year degree or certification in a technical field.
Five or more years of experience in facilities maintenanc
Position requires background check and other applicable pre-employment checks.
Hourly wage is $32.87 per hour.
