Responsibilities

  • 60% Group Leadership: Performs all functions associated with leading the multiple groups in the MSAT organization.
  • 20% Coaching and development of MSAT Team: Provides direct coaching, mentoring and development to each member of the MSAT management team both in execution of their group responsibilities and in their own personal development.
  • Develop and coach direct reports for future leadership roles.
  • Leads ambiguity through effective communication, removes barriers and overcomes resistance skillfully
  • Translates corporate strategy into critical success factors and creates breakthrough implementation plans
  • Demonstrates timely and accurate decision making, ensuring delegation or partner concern where appropriate
  • Develops inclusive relationships and alliances engaging internal and external team members
  • Builds systems and processes that enable others to be heard
  • Creates mechanisms to share information and knowledge across functions
  • Exhibits skillful communication to ensure peers (and team) develop relationships across functions

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cell & Gene Therapy and Viral Vector production preferred, current Good Manufacturing Practices, US / EU regulations, supervision.

Skills

  • Minimally 15+ years of biotech validated experience in process development, process scale up/manufacturing and Process Validation.
