Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
- ASCP or AMT certification or Certified Toxicologist is required
- Wednesday - Saturday 4:00 am to 2:30 pm overtime and additional days or hours may be required
Nice to have
- 1 year prior Experience in a Clinical Lab
- 6 months experience and familiarity with laboratory information systems
- 6 months or more experience with LCMSMS, GCMS, GCFID and/or ICPMS testing
- Additional Job Standards:
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation
- $27.77 - $37.00 hourly
Benefits
- Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
