About the role
- This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and alignment across production data platforms.
- Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a key contributor in governance and prioritization of system enhancements, including participation in and eventual leadership of the Route Surveillance (RS) change advisory process.
- Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.
Responsibilities
- In addition to core support responsibilities, the Senior Analyst is expected to take increasing ownership of system configuration, data flows, and cross-system integration, while partnering closely with business stakeholders.
- Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide day-to-day support for production surveillance applications including IFS Merrick Route Surveillance, Field Operator, and ProCount
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and drive long-term resolution
- Liaise with vendor support teams as needed for issue resolution
- Contribute to design and implementation of scalable configuration standards
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including members of IT, Production, and Operations departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in enterprise application support within a client-server production environment
- Experience supporting oil and gas field operations or upstream production environments
- Familiarity with IFS Merrick suite of applications including ProCount, Field Operator, and Route Surveillance

Nice to have
- Experience working with time-series data systems including GeoSCADA, Canary historian, or similar platforms
- Exposure to data integration between operational and enterprise systems
- Experience with the Atlassian product suite including Jira Service Management and Confluence
- Experience contributing to system governance, prioritization, or change management processes

- Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.
