- These roles provide full lifecycle academic course development and instructional delivery for both undergraduate‑ and graduate‑level programs that enhance the operational effectiveness of U.S. Navy and Department of Defense personnel.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive course materials: syllabus, lecture slides, reading lists, labs, homework, quizzes, and final exams
- Maintain weekly office hours (3-4 hours)
- Maintain a complete course journal documenting materials, updates, and instructional observations
- Support transition activities at the conclusion of the course or task order
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in academic course development and delivery
- Minimum 20 years of experience developing and delivering graduate‑level courses, particularly in advanced engineering or defense‑related technical disciplines
- Monterey, CA (In‑Residence Required
- This position is based in Monterey, CA, with in‑residence teaching required.
Nice to have
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to teach in‑residence in Monterey, CA for required periods
- Experience working with military or DoD-affiliated students preferred
