About the role

  • This role works closely with the individual business-line finance teams, pulling their inputs into a single, coherent picture of how Crusoe is performing and where it's headed.

  • Capital Allocation: Provide the analytical backbone for how Crusoe prioritizes capital across competing, capital-intensive growth opportunities, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis

Responsibilities

  • Join Crusoe's Finance team, reporting to the SVP of Finance, and own the central nervous system of financial planning, consolidation, and reporting for one of the fastest-scaling infrastructure companies in the world.
  • You will own the company's consolidated forecast, budget, and long-range plan
  • and build the systems and processes that let a rapidly scaling, capital-intensive business plan with precision.
  • This role will build and lead a small team of analysts and managers over time, but will begin as a hands-on contributor who is directly in the model, in the deck, and in the room.
  • Own the consolidated financial model across all business lines, integrating business-unit forecasts into a single, defensible enterprise view
  • Build the monthly and quarterly financial narrative for the CFO, executive team, Board, and investors - translating consolidated results and variances into clear, decision-ready materials
  • Corporate Consolidation: Own the consolidated financial model across all business lines, integrating business-unit forecasts into a single, defensible enterprise view
  • Executive & Board Reporting: Build the monthly and quarterly financial narrative for the CFO, executive team, Board, and investors - translating consolidated results and variances into clear, decision-ready materials
  • Variance & Performance Analysis: Drive company-wide budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Process & Control Integrity: Ensure planning and reporting processes meet internal control standards and support audit and compliance requirements as Crusoe scales

Requirements

  • Systems Fluency: Hands-on experience standing up or scaling FP&A platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive, or equivalent) alongside advanced Excel proficiency
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to align finance leaders across disparate business lines around one set of numbers and one planning calendar

Compensation

  • Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $275,000 - $315,000 + Bonus.
  • Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
