About the role
- If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety professional who is passionate about construction or industrial safety training and keeping workers safe, this role is for you!
- Worksite Safety Compliance Centre is looking to grow our team of instructors delivering our CPO-approved Working at Heights program.
- There may also be an opportunity for this instructor to train in other subject areas in the future (confined space entry or mobile equipment use, for example).
Requirements
- Background in construction management and/or other fall hazard-related industry
- Work experience or certification in occupational health & safety preferred
- Forklift, mobile elevated work platforms and confined space entry and rescue considered an asset
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Able to legally work in Canada

Compensation
- $65,000-75,000 to start (FT), DOE

- As a Health & Safety Instructor your key responsibilities are:
- These Health & Safety Instructors will deliver training at either of our North York or Richmond Hill Training Centres and occasionally at other locations within the area.
