About the role
- Responsible for taking radiographs of various parts of the body as ordered by the physician.
- Also responsible for obtaining specimens, conducting specific laboratory tests, and reporting/recording the results to the physician/ medical record.
- For MedTech, current (AMT) or (ASCP) MT certification.
Requirements
- Students in their final semester of an accredited School of Radiology may also be considered with the condition that completion of approved degree is achieved within 6 months of hire date.
Skills
- Must be able to utilize standard office equipment.
- Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
- Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.
