About the role
- Work with art direction and content teams to elevate the gameplay experience by designing and creating real-time visual effects across the full scope of the game.
- Understanding of hardware constraints and mastery of techniques to transcend them.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative direction regarding VFX techniques and style to maintain consistency throughout the user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in video game development and having worked on a published AAA title.
- Mastery of Maya, Photoshop, and knowledge of related software packages such as Houdini and EmberGen are a desired asset.
- Good knowledge of VFX development in game engines
- familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 and the Niagara pipeline is highly desire
- Working knowledge of shader technology.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le développement de jeux vidéo et avoir participé à un titre de jeu AAA publié.
- Avoir un portfolio/site web démontrant tes compétences artistiques.
- Compréhension des contraintes matérielles et maîtrise des techniques permettant de les transcender.
- Maîtrise de Maya, de Photoshop et connaissance des logiciels connexes tel que Houdini et EmberGen sont un atout.
