About the role
- Our client is a growing equipment finance organization seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its legal team.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and transactional documents Provide day-to-day legal support to business teams on contract, operational, and regulatory matters Assist with lease enforcement matters, including workouts, recoveries, bankruptcy-related issues, and other collection matters Advise internal partners on legal and compliance issues involving equipment finance transactions Support legal matters related to UCC, titling, documentation, and secured transactions Partner with internal departments, including sales, credit, collections, operations, compliance, and human resources Help identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions Contribute to the continued development of legal processes, policies, and best practices across the organization
