Develop and implement proactive quality methodologies to effectively and efficiently identify quality issues
Own customer pre ship review's enabling a seamless shipment of product
Perform continuous improvements, developing and documenting new processes to support AS9100 Quality System and manage external audits
Manage / Support FRB's (Failure Review Board), MRB's (Material Review Board) to address non-conformance, manage customer queries, generate non-conformances documentation, analyze non-conforming data, and determine corrective actions
Provide operational/manufacturing support and monitor assembly process control
Support supplier management, including supplier assessments

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for quality engineering related functions from proposal stage to final delivery of the product, addressing contract requirements, managing suppliers, supporting design/test phases, managing/supporting MRB's and FRB's, and process development/improvement.
Prior working knowledge of TIPQA or similar tool to manage non-conformances, suppliers, and quality clauses.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical or engineering discipline
Aerospace/Defense Contracting industry experience is required

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location.
The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
