About the role
- We are seeking a Legal Contracts Manager with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a high volume of routine and complex contracts.
- The specialist will have the ability to analyze and interpret legal language and work directly with business colleagues to prepare contracts for execution and implementation.

Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal business partners regarding the risks presented by contract terms and possible strategies to mitigate such risk
- Support administration of the company's contract management system (CMS)
- Use a wide range of legal or specialized knowledge to provide legal support services in an efficient and timely manner
- Research legal issues and engage in fact gathering and checking to provide support on all assigned legal matters
Requirements
- BS/BA degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR
- Master's degree and 4+ years of related experience
- Paralegal Certificate required
- Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents and to effectively present information to business partners and management
- Must be able to work independently and use judgment, within defined practices and policies, regarding contractual matters
- Must have expertise with legal contracts and documents
- Must have excellent computer skills, thorough working knowledge of computer software, including word processing, email and database programs
- Must possess strong knowledge of a broad range of corporate matters
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior level law professionals
- Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
Nice to have
- Biotech/Pharma industry experience strongly preferred
Compensation
- The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $119,700.00-$164,000.00.
