About the role

This position is also responsible for working with and mentoring students in the Early Childhood Education Program, in cooperation with instructional staff.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Administrative and functional supervision is received from the Manager of the department.

Adhere to all regulations as required by the Wisconsin Administrative Code for Child Care Center Licensing.
Satisfactory background check and fingerprint based criminal background check as required by the Wisconsin Administrative Code for Child Care Center Licensing.
Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education AND
Two years of related work experience.

Demonstrate ethical conduct in all aspects of the work environment.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as good listening skills.
Ability to identify needed action without direction or supervision.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure; attention to detail is essential.
Neatness in work and appearance.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, maturity, initiative and integrity with a professional image contributing to the success of the college.
Ability to work with diverse student, staff, and community populations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Dependable, punctual, and commitment to following through on tasks.
Flexibility in work schedule is required, to include occasional evenings.
Good working knowledge of methods utilized in providing quality child care, including theory and procedures.
Meet the physical requirements of the position as outlined in the Wisconsin Administrative Code for Child Care Center Licensing.

Accept responsibility for professional growth, to include meeting the annual certification and training requirements as outlined in the Wisconsin Administrative Code for Child Care Center Licensing.

Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Internal applicants' wage will be based upon the applicable compensation guidelines.
