Responsibilities
- Collaborates with members of management on projects.
- Collaborates with the AVP of HR to ensure that the distribution center is using all available 260E funds.
Requirements
- Must be able to physically perform light work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Stooping, reaching, standing, walking, grasping, fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.
Compensation
- Calculates holiday double time and overtime rates for bargaining unit employees six holidays a year, usually involves ten weeks per year.
Benefits
- Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
- Assumes the lead role in payroll, benefits administration, and event planning
- Provides input and assists in drafting performance appraisals and disciplinary action for Human Resources employees working in payroll, benefits administration, and event planning.
- Compiles monthly and quarterly incentive calculations and reports wages to West Des Moines for profit/bonus reports.
- Acts as back up to Human Resources Coordinators working in payroll, benefits administration, and event planning.
