Responsibilities
- Design and maintain core systems that ensure reliable, high performing simulator operation.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate system components seamlessly into real time training devices.
- Support system reviews and cross functional innovation to evolve next generation training capabilities.
- Contribute to systems that directly support pilot readiness and mission safety.
- Strong problem‑solving instincts and a passion for building reliable, high‑performance systems.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access
- Your engineering directly supports pilot readiness and mission safety around the globe.

Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for mission‑critical or real‑time environments.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring teams, driving technical innovation, and delivering high-quality software in high-stakes environments.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Must be able to work overtime on and off-shifts as required.
- Must be able to perform normal office duties (e.g. sitting for long periods at a desk)
- Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS via car and airplane
- Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a simulator
Nice to have
- Knowledge of MIL‑STD‑810, MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑704
- ARINC / RTCA experience preferred.

Compensation
- $153,300.00 - $169,500.00
- The actual compensation rate is subject to the evaluation of the following factors (but not limited to): the candidate's work experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and market.
