About the role
- May choose between floating to 6 clinics within 45 miles or all 13 ACC clinics ranging from Burlington to Summit to Grafton to St.
- Medical Assistants must adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- With more than 350 locations across Illinois and Wisconsin, AMG offers a wide range of specialties and services, including primary care, medical and surgical care, pediatrics, women's health, behavioral health, and more.
Responsibilities
- As a key member of the ambulatory care team, you will: Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
- $21.85 - $32.80 Job Description Summary: Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care.
- They are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion during all interactions.
Requirements
- Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
