About the role

  • Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a collaborative software development team supporting a wide range of internal business applications.
  • Summary: This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer who wants to gain hands-on experience working across modern web applications, databases, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.
  • The Full Stack Developer will work alongside experienced developers while learning a large and diverse technology environment and contributing to meaningful software used throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • The team develops and supports applications that power essential business functions including accounting, human resources, purchasing, budgeting, payroll, document management, and other operational services.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based and desktop business applications
  • Collaborate with developers, business users, and stakeholders to deliver software solutions
  • Support modernization efforts involving both legacy and newer applications

Requirements

  • 6+ months of professional software development experience
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, Vue, or similar frameworks
  • Ability to learn new technologies and business systems quickly

Nice to have

  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks
  • REST APIs and web services
  • SQL Server or other relational databases
  • TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
