About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and scale infrastructure and systems that enable businesses to connect with Google's AI commerce ecosystem.
- Drive the technical strategy and product roadmap for AI-driven commerce infra, partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to identify growth opportunities and technical solutions.
- Contribute directly to the codebase and system design across the full technical stack, while also supporting the development of new infra for partners.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on rapid delivery, technical excellence, and long-term career growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with enterprise platforms.
- Experience with full-stack development.
- Experience with people management.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems, reliability engineering, throughput and latency.
- Experience coding in Java.

Compensation
- US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
