About the role

Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities to proactively address potential risks.

Network Design and Implementation:
Design, implement, and maintain complex IP networks in the Reno area.
Develop and execute network plans, considering factors such as scalability, security, and performance.
Configure and optimize MikroTik routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
Implement robust security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure.
Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to achieve better efficiency.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Create and update network diagrams, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT support, system administrators, and security professionals.
Training and Support:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a MikroTik IP Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of MikroTik RouterOS and related networking technologies.
Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing, and subnetting.
Experience in designing and implementing secure and scalable networks.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Certifications such as MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE) are a plus.
