About the role

POSITION OVERVIEW This unionized position is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of jigs, fixtures, and molds.

Construct, maintain, and repair jigs, fixtures, and molds using machining and fabrication methods.
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding and cutting.
Use standard measuring instruments and perform basic shop math.
Experience building tubular welded construction jigs and fixtures is an asset.

The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, takes pride in their work, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Minimum 2 years of related machining, fabrication, or tool and die experience.
Proficiency with measuring tools and general machine shop equipment.
Basic knowledge of various metals and fabrication techniques.
