About the role
- Analyzes the results of simulated power system studies and may compare them to actual operating data to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- For level 2 - 2 years of progressively responsible experience in electric utility industry.
- Experience running power system load flow studies in PSSE.
Responsibilities
- Provides electrical engineering analysis and technical support for the interconnection of new generation resources and future planning of the electric power system.
Requirements
- Performs Powerflow studies as required to analyze the feasibility of proposed generation interconnections.
- For entry level - Less than one year experience (in excess of degree requirements stated above) of progressively responsible experience in electric utility industry.
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience in electric utility industry.
- Ability to clearly communicate requirements and other technical information.
- Ability to write technical reports of in-depth analysis completed.
- Experience with Python, VBA, or another programming language.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice to have
- Preferred Experience: Some experience within the electric utility industry.
Compensation
- Experience using TARA The base pay range for this role is $42.30 - $59.15/hr.
