Responsibilities
- Manage current and deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions.
- Analyze the ETR and perform return-to-provision true-ups.
- Partner with Tax Controversy to provide data and support for IRS and other audits.
- Manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment between international tax provisions and local filings.
- Drive continuous process modernization with tax technology tools like ONESOURCE (OTP/OIT) and Alteryx.
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, and FP&A to provide accurate cash tax and GAAP tax forecasting.
- Support M&A activity, including tax due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants and auditors.
- Strong process orientation, with the ability to co-design a sustainable, cost-effective target operating model for Tax Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience within a large multinational corporation or a top-tier accounting firm Deep technical proficiency in ASC 740 and U.S. Federal/State tax law.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems and tax provision software (e.g., Thomson Reuters OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and/or Alteryx).
- Minimum requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Nice to have
- Preferred skills and experiences Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License At least 3 years in a significant leadership role.
Compensation
- Two-Week Work from Anywhere - Minimum of one-week increments for a total of two weeks per year.
- Lead end-to-end quarterly and annual global income tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
