About the role
- Associate/Analyst DC Waste The DC Waste Analyst - FF/3PL is a specialized version of the DC Waste Analyst role focused on waste identification and mitigation within Factor's fulfillment and third-party logistics network.
- Rather than a single DC floor, you'll work across external fulfillment and 3PL sites - monitoring inventory utilization, flagging at-risk product, and partnering with 3PL operators to reduce waste before it occurs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory positions and product utilization across FF and 3PL partner sites to identify waste risk in real time
- Track and document waste events across the FF/3PL network, including root cause and resolution
- Support waste projection modeling by providing accurate, timely data on inventory status across external sites
- Maintain inventory data accuracy for FF/3PL positions in ERP/WMS systems
- Partner with the 3PL Strategy team and DC Waste Manager on network-level waste reduction initiatives
- Comfort navigating external partner relationships and working in settings without direct site authority
- Maintain inventory data accuracy for FF/3PL positions in ERP/WMS systems; flag discrepancies promptly
Requirements
- 2+ years in supply chain operations, inventory management, or logistics - preferably with exposure to 3PL or external fulfillment environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and inventory reporting tools
- Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and inventory control principles
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
