About the role
- Due to our team structure and collaboration needs, this role is open to candidates in the following locations: Southern California, Boston, Austin, or Seattle.
- Business Development Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territories or verticals.
Responsibilities
- Develop account strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand Avahi's customer base.
- Build productive relationships with AWS sales teams to foster collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, at client organizations.
- Collaborate with Avahi's technical teams and Solutions Architects to craft customized proposals for cloud migrations, modernization, and DevOps services.
- Lead discussions with clients to demonstrate the ROI of AWS solutions and secure buy-in from decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in HubSpot.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on prospecting campaigns and demand-generation activities.
- Be part of a team that explores cutting-edge technology and drives impactful solutions.
- Global Collaboration Work alongside a diverse, talented team, sharing insights and collaborating to create innovative solutions that make a real impact.

Requirements
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and their applications in solving business challenges.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative selling, a strong understanding of AWS services, and the ability to identify opportunities for cloud transformation projects.
Nice to have
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent knowledge of AWS services.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger, or Sandler.
- Strong network within the AWS ecosystem or cloud computing industry.
