Nice to have
- Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms, meeting rooms, food & beverage outlets, and public spaces.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and guests regarding maintenance status.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures, especially in occupied guest areas.
- Keep the engineering shop clean and equipment in good condition.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond appropriately during incidents.
- Use tools, equipment, materials, and chemicals safely and efficiently according to manufacturer's instructions and MSDS requirements.
- Has basic knowledge of hotel's plumbing, heating/boiler, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning, fire safety, sprinkler, lighting and communication systems
- Check HotSoS and maintenance request lists daily for work assignments at the beginning of and throughout each shift.
