About the role
- Join us and help run what runs the world.
- You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and loading new suppliers.
- You will also be responsible for issuing purchase orders, conduct goods receipts, and work with suppliers to resolve billing and delivery issues.
Responsibilities
- The Buyer will support the Bloomfield, CT site by providing procurement expertise for our local R&D, lab, and prototype engineering teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of purchasing or related experience
- 3+ years of SAP experience and knowledge of purchasing related T-codes
- Strong knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques
- Experience in negotiating/managing supplier contracts and agreements
- Ability to "buy-up" to 66 2/3% of pay.
