Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Ambulatory Care Committee to define priorities for key clinical programs, representing physician perspectives and fostering clinician engagement
  • Maintains a focus on quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and safety initiatives; leads process changes, workflow modifications, and technology integration
  • Collaborate with physician leaders to understand workflow needs and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary governance to ensure clinical voices guide system design and enhancements
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Applications leaders to ensure physician-centric perspectives are incorporated into system design, configuration, and upgrades
  • Offer clinical insight to support nursing automation, documentation, care coordination, and regulatory requirements
  • Support of patients through preoperative planning, execution, and post-operative supportive care for orthopedic surgical procedure(s)
  • Collaborate with faculty in Orthopedics, Anesthesia, Neurology and other co-faculty members in Developmental Disabilities on preoperative evaluation in consultation with attending surgeon.
  • Help develop pre-surgical assessment clinic

Requirements

  • Candidates must be eligible for licensure to practice Medicine in Texas
