About the role
- The Dishwasher/Steward is responsible for general and specific cleaning task in the kitchen areas,
- including transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide kitchen staff
- Position also requires cleaning of physical surroundings.
Responsibilities
- Blending historic character with modern lifestyle design, The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh offers an authentic guest experience.
- Support of and participate in the recycling and sanitation programs.
- Clean, organize and maintain trash area on an ongoing basis.
- Clean, organize and maintain employees cafeteria.
- Maintain and enforce sanitation laws and safety standards with anyone entering the kitchen area.
Requirements
- Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment handling required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
