About the role

  • Job Description: The Administrative Assistant, is responsible for supporting the Director of Manufacturing and his team to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities.
  • The core duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant revolves around supporting others as needed.
  • On any given day, the main job tasks may vary according to business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping as needed
  • Ability to implement standard office and able to operate office equipment.

Nice to have

  • Accounting/budget experience is preferred.

Skills

  • HS/GED Graduate.
  • Associate or Trading school preferred
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt to changes due to business needs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is a MUST
  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Climbing

  • Sitting for prolonged periods
  • Requires frequent visits to manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
