About the role
- The CSLP student worker's work schedule is dependent on the hours of operations and needs of Hustle PHX; however, CSLP student workers may not work more than 20 hours per week during the academic year (i.e., fall/spring).
- Note: All FWS and FWS-CSLP positions require applicants to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to be reviewed for FWS-eligibility and awarded FWS.
- Follow up with entrepreneurs who miss workshops or do not turn in assignments. - Communicate with and care for volunteers and entrepreneurs including workshop and homework reminders. - Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the set up/tear down of workshops and events. Fill out and document site reports to capture relevant data on program participants and volunteer engagement.
- Manage and oversee use of Discord by volunteers and entrepreneurs. Follow up with entrepreneurs who miss workshops or do not turn in assignments.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor's program or master's program.
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
- Committed to supporting and uplifting others.
- Maintain strong ethical standards, integrity, and a high level of personal accountability.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage responsibilities with attention to quality and outcomes.
Nice to have
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
