About the role

The Legal Counsel - Commercial serves as a strategic legal advisor managing complex commercial negotiations.
Such agreements include SaaS subscription agreements, business associate agreements, data processing agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements and more.

Drive standardization and continuous improvement of commercial contract terms, clause libraries, and playbooks while identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments across Intelerad to close deals while protecting the business, setting reasonable expectations for internal stakeholders and identifying key approvers needed to push negotiations forward.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong internal and external relationships

& Experience Required
5+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer at a leading law firm and/or in the technology industry, including experience supporting global technology companies through complex transactions

Maintain a working understanding of applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA, that relate to the handling of personal health information, and negotiate deals within the boundaries those laws set.
Strong understanding of software, healthcare technology, and privacy regulations, with the ability to quickly grasp medical imaging concepts
