About the role

  • Hi, I'm Chris https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-vossler/.
  • Before Jane, I spent over a decade in US healthcare technology, so I've seen a lot of the ways this industry can make life harder than it needs to be for the people delivering care, and I like fixing that.
  • Payments is one of the biggest, highest stakes areas at Jane.

Responsibilities

  • You'll work directly with the Payments teams to set the strategy for where this goes over the next 18 to 24 months, and then you'll go build it.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and product partners, becoming the trusted voice on payments across Jane and removing the barriers that slow other teams down when payments touches their work.
  • Drive meaningful impact for the clinics and patients who depend on Payments, aligning stakeholders and leadership across Jane around the value we're creating, with the goal of making Jane Payments the obvious choice.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about applying AI to your own workflows and decision-making, beyond using it to summarize documents or plan a trip.
  • It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.
  • You can learn more about it here https://jane.app/documents/hiring/jane_benefits_overview.pdf!

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of product management experience specifically in payments, ideally at a company built on Stripe's platform.
  • A track record of working closely with engineering teams on technically complex, high-ambiguity problems, and driving strategy without someone mapping out every step for you.

Compensation

  • This role has an annual salary range of $146,400 to $228,600.
  • Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $173,800.
  • A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills.
  • You'll have regular career development conversations with your manager, and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.
  • Paying clearly is one of our compensation fundamentals.

Company info

  • Experience in vertical SaaS at a mid-market to enterprise scale, turning complex payments infrastructure into products customers can trust.
  • Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company with a remote-first team working across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by our mission to help the helpers.
  • That level of impact means every person at Jane plays an important role in how we show up for our customers.
  • We're also embracing the possibilities of AI, using it to work smarter, improve our systems, and create even better experiences for our customers and our team.
  • At Jane, we're committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth.
  • You'll have regular career development conversations with your manager, and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.
