About the role
- Job description Spangler's Market is seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and experienced Part-Time Produce Clerk to join our friendly and hardworking team!
- Keeps store in clean, orderly condition during shift.
Responsibilities
- Operates equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury to oneself or others
Requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate back room equipment, including the pallet jack, in compliance with labor laws.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Strong front-facing customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
Nice to have
- 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience in stocking and produce is a plus, but we will train.
- Produce: 1 year (Preferred)
Compensation
- $18.50 - $22.00 per hour

- Operates back room equipment, including the pallet jack
- Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns during shift and reports to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Sees that spills and hazardous conditions are cleaned up
- If a potential shoplifter is identified, uses CB to advise the Store Manager
- Protects the safety of self, co-workers, and Spangler's Market patrons at all times
- Reports safety-related accidents and incidents to management at once
- Follows all company and safety policies and procedures
- Attends staff meetings as scheduled
- Assists in other duties as assigned
