About the role

As the EPIC Ambulatory Principal Trainer, you are responsible for training the user community on Epic applications and you serve as the expert on Epic clinical applications and associated ProMedica clinical or operational workflows.
You will also coordinate super users training for the application.
The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.

You will build, test and maintain the training technical environment as well as create and maintain high-quality training materials.

Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience
2 years of relevant experience
3-5 years' experience in the role of an educator in industry and/or academic settings.
Must be able to occasionally move, lift and/or carry medium-weight objects and materials.
Skills: Strong computer skills and a technical aptitude are necessary. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries

Certification: Epic Ambulatory Principal Trainer certification
Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally move, lift and/or carry medium-weight objects and materials.

Certification: Must earn certification requirements within 3 months of completing the first Epic class within designated Epic application.
